After cajoling Rowdy Roddy Piper to appear at a special screening of They Live he abruptly passed away. In that time we’ve been working hard on transforming our screening of They Live on October 17th into a memorial screening to celebrate Rowdy’s life and work. We are ecstatic to announce that the longest-running WWE Champion of the modern era and quite the connoisseur of the horror film genre CM Punk will be joining us to introduce They Live and share with us the impact Rowdy Roddy Piper had on his life.

If you had purchased tickets for our original screening of They Live with Rowdy Roddy Piper Live! you are all set. If you wish to purchase tickets they are still $25 and we also have the $45 dollar option that comes with a limited edition, hand-pulled, silk screened They Live poster

On this week’s Maron, Marc is getting ready for his new talk show pilot by boldly going cold turkey and giving up nicotine gum and caffeine. That’s not all, either. He also wants to try and get in shape with the help of pro wrestler, CM Punk, but it might have been too much too soon and the stress of his new regimen leads to a more serious problem.

Maron airs Thursdays on IFC.

Beginning Thursday at 7 a.m., Comcast Sportsnet will showcase over eight-straight hours of Blackhawks Stanley Cup Championship celebratory coverage — and you won’t want to miss a minute of it!

Bright and early at 7 a.m., catch an encore presentation of Blackhawks Postgame Live from Monday night’s championship win. Then at 9 a.m., get ready for our LIVE coverage of the Championship Parade and Rally.

Joining CSN’s broadcast from Soldier Field as co-host, is Chicago native and die-hard Blackhawks fan, CM Punk. CSN will be providing viewers with live reports from the parade’s starting point at the United Center, along the parade route, and concluding at Soldier Field for the centerpiece celebration. The coverage will also include aerial shots throughout the event, along with fun interviews with the fans along the parade route.

In case you can’t tune in from home, both the Championship parade and rally coverage will be streamed live on and will be made available for viewing via the NBC Sports Live Extra app. (CSN will replay its parade/rally coverage at 11:00 p.m.)

After the parade and rally wrap up, stick around to re-live Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Championship. And to see how the party started, the re-air will also feature the post-game Stanley Cup presentation and much more!
