Chris Jericho made a shocking claim about CM Punk’s sister
WWE Champion CM Punk opened the show and angrily called out Jericho for bringing up his father’s alcohol issues. Saying Jericho crossed the line, The Straight Edge Superstar went on to state the seriousness of alcoholism and why Jericho is really the “pathetic” one for making light of a grave condition. (VIDEO)
Jericho didn’t heed Punk’s message, however, as he appeared on the TitanTron just as he did last week – this time making a stunning allegation that Punk’s sister had substance-abuse problems. Punk immediately told Jericho to shut up, called him a liar and vowed to beat the lies out of him at WrestleMania.

Special guest ring announcer and Psych star James Roday gave The Miz a friendly introduction to his native Ohioans before a showdown with WWE Champion CM Punk. Despite the warm welcome, however, The Awesome One was anything but awesome in the ring as Punk made Miz tap with the Anaconda Vise.
Before The Straight Edge Superstar could finish celebrating his win, Chris Jericho appeared on the TitanTron and made things personal by telling the WWE Universe that the reason Punk embraces a straight-edge lifestyle is because of fears that he will end up like his alcoholic father. Jericho claimed he would leave Punk “a broken man” who would only be remembered as a “pathetic, damn drunk” after their WWE Championship Match at WrestleMania.
The crowd tried to lend their support to the emotionally wounded Punk, but there was no consoling The Second City Savior as he walked dejectedly back up the entrance ramp with his title in hand.

World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan & Chris Jericho def. WWE Champion CM Punk and Sheamus (WATCH)
WWE Champion CM Punk and the World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan, along with their respective No. 1 contenders, Chris Jericho and Sheamus, all took to the ring for this high-octane tag team contest.
The match started out with the two Superstars seeking to lay claim to the “Best in the World” title – Punk and Jericho – trading holds and exchanging blistery strikes. As the action picked up steam, Sheamus and Bryan each found their way into the mix. Midway into the bout, Sheamus reversed a bulldog attempt by Jericho and launched Y2J knee-first into the turnbuckle. Moments later, however, Jericho was able to break up Sheamus’ attempt at giving Bryan The Celtic Cross.
Eventually, Sheamus and Bryan spilled to ringside, where The Celtic Warrior clobbered The Submission Specialist with a thunderous double-axehandle. Inside the ring, Punk reversed the Walls of Jericho into a small package, but the veteran Jericho managed to roll over Punk just enough to secure Punk’s shoulders to the mat for the three-count. After the match, Jericho grabbed the WWE Championship and pointed to it, while a frustrated Punk could only look on.

Chris Jericho won a 10-Man No. 1 Contender’s Battle Royal; will face WWE Champion CM Punk at WrestleMania (WATCH)
With WWE Champion CM Punk joining the Raw announce team, 10 competitors from last night’s Elimination Chamber Matches fought for the chance to face Punk on The Grandest Stage of Them All. One of the biggest threats was eliminated first when The Great Khali was tossed from the ring. Next to go was The Miz, as well as his dream of headlining WrestleMania. Then, Wade Barrett and R-Truth were both eliminated by Santino Marella. Big Show eliminated Doph Ziggler by tossing him onto the announce table. Out next was Kofi Kingston, who was sent flying from the ring by Jericho.
The final four were Big Show, Santino Marella, Cody Rhodes and Chris Jericho. First to go out of the final group was Santino, who was eliminated by Rhodes. Then it was down to two when Show eliminated Rhodes. Then as The World’s Largest Athlete appeared ready to put away Jericho as the two tangled on the ropes, Rhodes interfered, pulling Big Show from the ring apron, sealing the win for Jericho.
After the bout, Punk entered the ring to stare down his No. 1 Contender. When the WWE Champion offered a handshake to Jericho, he refused and walked out of the ring.

On Sunday night, the very Superstar who Jericho ripped as a “wannabe,” the man who he disrespected at every opportunity, was the only one who could lay claim to being the “Best in the World”: WWE Champion CM Punk.
