Survivor Series Preview: Team Kingston vs. Team Orton

On Raw, Kofi Kingston has proven time and time again that he is one of the most exciting young ring warriors in WWE, and is truly a Superstar to watch. But in our nation’s capital, he’ll have one of the biggest matches of his career as he and his team go up against the squad of Randy Orton in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match.
In addition to R-Truth on the side of Kingston and the devious CM Punk teaming up with Orton, two of the top competitors in the Land of the Extreme, ECW Champion Christian and William Regal are also joining the fray. For months, The British Brawler has struggled to get the upperhand against Captain Charisma, and he might just have that chance when he joins up with Team Orton to face the ECW Champion and the rest of Team Kingston in a 10-Man Tag Team Match.
Don’t miss the epic confrontation between Team Kingston (Kofi Kingston, MVP, Mark Henry, ECW Champion Christian & R-Truth) and Team Orton (Randy Orton, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase & William Regal) at the 23rd annual Survivor Series on Nov. 22, at 8/7 CT, live on pay-per-view.
Preview: WWE Bragging Rights

At WWE Bragging Rights, new World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker will defend his title in a Fatal-4-Way Match against three former Word Champions: CM Punk, Rey Mysterio and Batista.
The Deadman defeated CM Punk inside The Devil’s Playground at Hell in a Cell to win his seventh World Title. Five days later, The Straightedge Superstar stormed his way into Friday night, demanding that SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long give him his mandatory rematch on his terms. But before the issue could be resolved, Mr. McMahon emerged to “help” Long make “his” monumental announcement – the former Straightedge Champion’s rematch would be a Fatal-4-Way at WWE Bragging Rights, and it would also include The Master of the 619 and The Animal.
Despite losing the title to The Demon from Death Valley, Punk’s aggressive performance at Hell in a Cell will stay etched in the minds of the WWE Universe forever. He has continued to show his ability to emerge as a strong competitor for any type of match thrown at him, no matter the odds. His A-list skills, fused with an anything-to-win attitude, make the three-time World Champion a very dangerous threat to the gold.
Hell in a Cell: Undertaker vs. World CM Punk

At first, it appeared Undertaker had dethroned World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk by using Hell’s Gate to make him submit. However, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long emerged to instruct referee Scott Armstrong to restart the match, calling the hold illegal.
Once the action resumed, Punk locked The Deadman in the Anaconda Vise. Although The Phenom clearly did not tap out of the hold, Armstrong quickly called for the bell, signaling Undertaker had indeed submitted.
The decision stunned not only Undertaker, but the entire WWE Universe. It took five days to find out any answers.
The following Friday on SmackDown, Long admitted to a pre-planned conspiracy involving himself, Armstrong and Punk to prevent Undertaker from winning the match.
It wasn’t until the Sept. 25 edition of SmackDown that Long was heard from again – when he was found to be bound and gagged in a coffin! After being untied by CM Punk, Long revealed that Punk would face Undertaker and Hell in a Cell – and Hell’s Gate is now legal. And in a match that same night, Punk found a way to escape The Deadman’s wrath by defeating him by count-out.
But with nowhere to hide within the confines of their Hell in a Cell Match, can Punk find a way to fend off Undertaker and retain his gold? Or, will The Deadman inflict hellish torment and take what he believes he already rightfully earned?
Find out live on Oct. 4 at WWE Hell in a Cell, the inaugural pay-per-view event designed to take Superstars to Hell and back … if they’re lucky.
Smackdown Spoilers and Live Pictures
A huge thank you to Katy for donating pictures along with her detailed event of what happened for this weeks Smackdown.
unk opened up SmackDown. He did a promo about us being drug users, him not. He said other things but it was hard to hear because of the booing. The last thing he got to do was challenge someone (I think is what he said), but nobody came out because, as he said, “Nobody’s left.” The lights went out and a bunch of druids came down with a casket. Punk ran out of the ring and got a chair. He kept hitting the casket with it then finally lifted the lid. Teddy was inside. Punk dragged him out and untied/ungagged him. Teddy told him that as of that moment, the Hell’s Gate was no longer banned, that Punk would defend his title in Hell in a Cell, and that he would face Undertaker tonight.
The match was really good, lots of outside action. The end came when they were on the outside by the announcers. I don’t know if Punk was going for his title or a chair, but Taker stopped him. Taker took off the top of the announce table and was about to give Punk a Last Ride on it. By this time the ref is up to an 8 or 9 count. Punk got away, shoved Taker and ran into the ring. Taker got back in the ring right after the 10 count, so Punk won via count out. That ended Smackdown.
After that, Taker ran to the back and grabbed Punk. They came back to the ring where Taker gave him a Chokeslam and a Tombstone. That was it!
Breaking Point Preview

The Straightedge Champion’s collision with The Phenom first came into being at SummerSlam. Just moments after The Straightedge Superstar had triumphed over Jeff Hardy in a brutal TLC Match to capture the World Title, his smug celebration turned into horrifying darkness in the form of the rematerializing Deadman. The frightening sound of a gong seemed to make time stand still. A collective rush of electricity ripped its way though the capacity crowd. And then, the lights went out on CM Punk. Within seconds, The Deadman appeared in the fallen Hardy’s place, raising once again and chokeslamming an instant claim onto the newly-crowned World Champion.

SummerSlam 2009

CM Punk is The Straightedge Superstar with fury in his eyes, driven by an undeniable thirst to get his gold back. He has used his focus, dedication, and exceptional skill to conquer the Extreme before, winning two, back-to-back Money in the Bank Ladder Matches at WrestleMania, both of which led to World Championship reigns. The anger that he feels toward The Charismatic Champion, which has led directly to his recent acts of ruthless aggression, fully demonstrates his intention to win the title at any cost. Despite his proven skill with the ladder, how will he fair once the Extreme elements are intensified by the power of two?
Find out who will overcome the wrath of the TLC to capture the gold, Sunday, Aug. 23 at 8/7 CT, only on pay-per-view. For more SummerSlam check out the official website.
Night of Champions Preview

At The Bash, the high-flying Superstar had World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk right where he wanted with an apparent pinfall. However, after closer inspection by the referee, it was determined Punk’s foot was under the bottom rope and out of bounds. After the action was restarted, Punk kicked the referee in the back, resulting in a disqualification. In one fell swoop Punk dropped the ref and crushed Hardy’s hopes of getting gold.
At Extreme Rules, Jeff Hardy was triumphant over Edge in a career-threatening World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match. But then, in the blink of an eye, it was all over when Punk cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on Hardy.
At Judgment Day, Jeff Hardy was betrayed by his own flesh and blood, Matt Hardy, who helped World Heavyweight Champion Edge steal a win.
And if you go all the way back to January at Royal Rumble, that is when Jeff’s troubles began. Shocking the WWE Universe, Matt showed his true colors, violently smashing his brother in the head with a steel chair, costing him his WWE Championship.
How much more can Hardy take? At Night of Champions, can he finally turn things around? Not if CM Punk has anything to say about it.
After waiting for just the right moment to cash in his Money in the Bank contract, the champion has proven he will do whatever it takes to retain his gold, including kicking a referee in the back at The Bash – a move which Punk still maintains was an accident. Certainly, Punk will not go down without a fight.
Don’t miss this epic confrontation at Night of Champions, only on pay-per-view, Sunday, July 26 at 8/7CT.
Preview: CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy

At The Bash, the fateful roads of squared-circle passion and championship retribution will collide, as World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk puts his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Jeff Hardy.
Extreme Rules saw Jeff Hardy prove triumphant over Edge in a career-threatening World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match that propelled both Superstars to heights of grueling insanity, the likes of which neither one had ever experienced before. It was time for celebration, as The Charismatic Enigma had finally overcome all that had stood in his way to stand alone in the glorious splendor of WWE supremacy.
But then, in the blink of an eye, it was all over. Suddenly and without warning, CM Punk brought Hardy hurling back to earth, cashing in his Money in the Bank opportunity on the war-torn Superstar to rip the gold from his waist as quickly as it had been placed there.
The Straightedge Superstar had also overcome unimaginable odds at the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania, beating out seven other Superstars to climb the rungs of the ladder and snatch his second Money in the Bank briefcase. This gave him the right to cash in that opportunity anytime he wished. Some claim that he simply exercised a move of strategic brilliance, picking the moment that the World Champion would be most vulnerable to attack and taking the title.
On Raw’s special three-hour edition 3-For-All, Punk put his title up against both Hardy & Edge in a Triple Threat Match. Hardy looked to once again close-in on victory over The Rated-R Superstar. However, Punk blocked Hardy’s path to glory once again, hurling him away from the win to cover Edge himself and retain the title. This further intensified the tension between the two Superstars and raised as many question as it answered.
At The Bash, a true moment of destiny will be revealed. There will be no ladders or no promises of glory hanging above the ring, only the white-hot intensity of reckless abandon. Two of the most tenacious Superstars in WWE will dish out every bit of their heart, strength and unbridled skill to determine who has the right to possess the gold. And in the end, only one of them will walk out the ultimate conqueror.
