I will say this again; CM Punk and Luke Gallows need to go over. They need to be displayed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Thursdays, Sundays, Jesus’s birthday, my birthday. Seriously.

The straightedge society looked dark and dangerous and so good to see some talent on RAW, ie PUNK/GALLOWS/SERENA on an otherwise dreadful show. God its bad! Triple H’s match was helpless, did anyone else notice how quiet the crowd was during his match, they fell asleep! Shawn looked as though he was on the same trip the rest of the crowd was on. They missed a major gift with the original unified tag match being cancelled. Its so, like, dead now

The question is not did anyone notice how bad this show was, but rather did anyone notice the distress flag presumably pitched at our punknut, i dont think I was imagining it, but it wouldnt surprise me if it was a hint for some help…..??? He has a knack for truth-telling albeit it in a ass-kicking sort of way. Am I crazy?

Hi Jane,Judas, I thought I was imagining it too, the same thing crossed my mind when I saw the flag, not so subtle I have to say, it reminded me of kind of like the bat-signal sent out over Gotham City to the dark knight when things are in peril, well I have to say things at RAW are seriously grave, maybe they still get good ratings but its on its knees in every other way. That has been bugging me ever since I saw this shit show, why do we watch RAW ppl, regardless of the fact our guy CM Punk was on it this week, its god-awful. But I thought the same thing as you guys, were they asking punknut for a review? It sort of looked that way for me too, maybe we are all mad! Im not crazy however in saying Triple H’s match was appalling, the crowd was just not there at all. That was hard to watch. And I hate the Miz, cant help it, I seriously try to get that, but it just wont happen for me.

Hey folks …I noticed it, my eyes still work fine, but for me it looked like a different kinda message, more like “we hope you die cunt!”. And the blokes Ive been staying with Godbless em’ they thought half what you folks were thinking, half what I was thinking, so its difficult to tell which. Im hoping it was just a weird glich and it meant nothing, but it seemed a little out of order to be remembering the life of a great deceased American wrestler and have the last shot of the now dead American guy standing in front of what looked like an Australian flag. Yeah Ive bashed em a bit, but Ive praised em a lot more when things have worked well, I never wanted anything from them, nor from Punk, but if thats the message theyre sending me then all I can say is im not dead yet assholes, dont hold your breath waiting… if you want UFC to ultimately overtake you then your going in the right direction for that, especially on RAW. If they actually listen and applied what Ive said, UFC would be dead in terms competition within 10 years and TNA would be like a chic’s fart in the night…

That is sick in the negative, I read all these comments, then watched the show, twisted, def a dead man in front of an aussie flag, its only for a second that the shot lasts for, but at least in these parts, ie cmpunk.com it was noticable, kidney disease is life=threatening right? That is bad karma if that was dropped into that footage on purpose? Makes a person want to leave. As if they couldnt hv found an image of the wrestler in front of an American flag, how does wwe make sense of that image? If that was an accident its got to be one in a million. Just makes me sad

I worked as a journalist for a time, some of you know that already, I still know a few active journalists in the wrestling business, a lot of them read what Punknut writes here, the few I know respect him for his honesty in an industry which is very controlled and sheltered from truth, accordingly, its like a big secret, no-one admits to it but many industry heavyweights come here to read his comments. The word is, from what I have heard from other journalists is that Vince McMahon will end ECW, scheduled for about three or four weeks away, Punknut if we all remember said it was dead a long time ago and the reasons why. And his last post here he said RAW will follow if they dont change. The truth is for all the hype that the WWE exudes, UFC is right on its heels and TNA will grow and expand it is inevitable because its content is more like UFC, more edgey and reality-based with an emphasis on youth and the best talent and its because of perceived fakeness within wrestling [regardless of them selling t-shirts and filling arena's], particularly on RAW and worse ECW that things are somewhat fragile. That is what killed ECW, 1980’s styled type wrestlers - not very good wrestlers with very poor skills. That doesnt cut in an UFC generation of fight fans. I understand what Punknut was trying to do and that was bring some perception of reality to the matches, toughen things up a bit, Morrison and McIntyre is the perfect example - that looked almost real, or at least as real as wrestling can get and we loved it, it gave rise to a new improved Drew McIntye. And I understand why he targetted CM Punk as the focus of his attention, its simple, CM Punk looks like a UFC fighter or Mixed Martial Arts fighter and has phenomenal wrestling skills to back up his image. But in an industry where a true talent has to sit back and take countless pretend losses to advance his career, its frustrating to watch. It saddens me too that it has apparently come to this. I saw the footage, it felt like something, that is all I will say about it. I think we all can understand that patience was not one of Punknut’s virtues and that has probably ruffled some feathers with some people and I can think of a number of persons who might like things to remain just as they are. But that will only, ultimately lead RAW [especially] down the same path as ECW.

Having spoken to punknut he said the gig is up, he only really came back to support and inject some venom into the CM Punk versus Shawn Michaels match but that match is looking less likely and is verging on the “who cares anyway” list at this point. WWE gutted the potential power of the original tag match between DX and Punk/gallows by cancelling it and furthermore pissed all over it by including the Miz and Big Show into the picture only weakening the building intensity which is now at tepid, something that was so unnecessary and counter-productive, hell lets just say it was a shit decision and no fucking fan is happy about it. As punknut said to me on the phone yesterday, “the whole thing was over the moment CM Punks music started and Triple H went to water”. We both have nodoubts that Triple H is a tough guy who can handle himself and the WWE can give him 400 titles if they choose, but Punk won that match regardless of the official result and before it even began.

and no he wont give you a review of Raw but fuck I will, Raw sucked!, Bret Hart was treated like shit, again, Triple H walked through a match, flexed his muscles, spat all over himself, he himself enjoyed it immensely but the crowd didnt even know he was in the ring. Shawn looked in need of Jesus, or a painkiller for his back, Serena tried to wake Captain Kirk by clicking her fingers, but everyone was dozing. The Miz looked like a gay male-prostitute as usual clinging to his belt like it was his cherry, the Raw girls talked about the smackdown girls, and no-one could figure why the fuck Batista was there.

Punknut’s going back to his Martial/Zen pals in Japan next week for alternative healing and said to say a final goodbye to everyone, especially Julie and Ive got 2 months on the long and winding road, so maybe I’l return, but most likely, not.

As for who he likes and respected, I think someone has already said it, but it was anyone who had talent and commitment to thier craft, He told me Punk had reignited his childhood interest in wrestling and he truly appreciated the skill Punk had. What more can I say other than I will miss Punknut a lot.

Why do I feel like CM Punk just won another world title, when a UFC connected guy, like what has four black belts in separate arts, thats hardcore, but when someone like that says stuff, you got 2 listen. I agree Julie, he deserves that, in retrospect the guy put a lot into this place in his own way, I do think it may have initially hurt CM Punk with his bosses at the WWE but after a while I think they just may have seen some truth in his words and well we all know they used a few good ideas and thank god otherwise CM Punk would still be stuck in Jerichoville and calling the crowd “pathetic”, he’s evolved into something much more complex now and I cannot see the WWE letting CM Punk slip from the very clear elevation he has given to smackdown and the WWE generally. The latest bleacher report outside here makes the case directly that CM Punk is THE top heel now on Smackdown now, something we already know and have for some time, mainly in large thanks to sir punknut lol. And it seems perhaps that more people are set to be added to Punks straightedge society which as punknut said was necessary to keep increasing the image and power of Punks storyline, WRESTLEMANIA, thats the biggest opportunity for CM Punk to make mammoth his power and his storyline, WWE needs to give him something big there to maximise his infamy.

I agree jawbreaker, there has been mention of a Hair v Mask event at wrestlemania between Punk and Mysterio, personally I think if it goes ahead it will either be Punk moving up a notch and taking his character to the limit, or it will go completely the opposite way and be the end of the straightedge society, I personally feel that WWE has to really big up the saviour character so when his inevitable fall comes, its a bloody big fall from grace! I’m not ready for the saviour storyline to finish yet and think it could build into something even bigger than it is now! Besides when I go to see SD in April, I don’t want to see a bald Punk!! The thing I thought about over the last day/night about all of the punknut revelations, is WHY??? He must have had issues with UFC to have come over to the wrestling world and underhandedly from the shadows provide serious ammunition to change and improve the WWE’s credibility and approach to their fundamentals. I mean we all love wrestling, thats why we are here, but we also know that many of the so called midcard and lower wrestlers constantly damage wreslings reputation and credibility due to their skills and aggression being poor, it constatntly leaves wrestling open to criticism from other sports that its fake etc. I was watching a comedy show the other day and the comic was making jokes about wrestling being fake, it wasnt funny to me but the crowd was laughing. Everyone in an UFC ring or cage are 100% in the moment, no-ones laughing there, theres no other option for those men, but wrestling, there are a lot of wrestlers who have made a career cruising. It doesnt help wrestling. Id love to know why punknut did what he did? He must have fallen out with people there or something???

I just have to say something I don’t get. Why did the writers just decide to make CM punk annoying, it’s like everyone loved him when he won MITB 2 years in a row then they decided to have everyone hate him. By having him annoy the WWE universe and by having him beat all the fan favorites. The same thing is happening with Batista I don’t get it why do they want these guys heels?

Maybe because as heels they draw more people into the arenas and maybe they even act better as heels because acting as heels is more like their REAL LIFE character….just a thought.
