to NIcole, yes I know what you mean and hope its not for long too. NOt much wrestlign going on this week was there? On an entertainment level, some great expressions from Punk after the quick count – kinda reminded me of one of my kids starting a temper tantrum! lol
To Ellen, I noticed that too, so funny! Right at the end of the match when Punk was going up the ramp there was a shot of him from the back and yep his trunks were definately down a bit! bless him!! NOticed there isn’t a screen capture of it for some reason! lol

Things just aint going too well for Punk at the present, and its hard for us fans. Im hoping its just a rotation thing and that he will be centre-stage again when they find someone to keep up with him. R Truth was ok, but fuck I hate that song. I was hoping Punk would dance as Truth made his entrance or Punk would shout out ‘whatz up’ when he had Truth locked up with the surfboard move, but no, the script-writers are not that sharp or progressive. So it turned out to be a passable match, but with another stupid and pointless result.
Poor Punky, that gorgeous man deserves better matches. R-truth was not bad, even with the sad Drew Mc stuff, but the match just lacked something? What is the wwe doing? It feels like punishment for something to me. As much as I can admit smiling when his shorts came down (hey I am a girl!), the thought did pop into my head that it may have not been an accident. Im blonde dont hate me for my evil thoughts sorry!

Well I am over the shit matches Punk is given. No wonder Truth was smiling, he gets a win and to do some actual wrestling with the best wrestler in the world, and he gets to move forward from his own storyline disaster… Man Im hoping that the budgy-smugglers coming down was just an accident. I could see how some highbrow types within WWE might want to humble the blue-collar kid for his genius or as payback for us fans applying the literary blowtorch via our comments from time to time. I can think of a handful of assholes who might have liked to have seen Punk running up the ramp in only his boots! I hope im wrong, but it is odd how a few of us are thinking the same shit.
Oh I was thinking the same thing too, but I wasnt going to say a thing til I read the other people saying it first lol. I think you should watch your back Punk and tighten your trunks, people may be just a little bit jealous. And jealous people are the most dangerous. Your just way too fucking good at what you do. To Nicole, im with you on everything you said. We just want quality. R-Truth has potential and he can deliver despite his baggage and past recent humiliations for the benefit of Vinces new boy Drew, and there were some good moments in the match but as JudasIscariot said earlier there was also so many missed extras which could have made the match all the better. But yes such a stupid ending to the match and yes who is getting entertained with this rubbish?
I think that the WWE needs to allocate specific writers to each of the wrestlers and that way they wont gloss over the little things that could add magic to a match. Its clear to me the writers are focussed on Mysterio and Batista and not much else and thats so one dimensional in light of CM Punk and what he can do everytime he walks into an arena. It is frustrating to watch the Picasso of world wrestling sitting on the sidelines and wrestling nobody’s and having his pants yanked down as some form of childish retribution for whatever. So infantile if that was a planned thing.

I can see where you lot are coming from, given the shit that WWE have come up with lately, but I think the trunks coming down was an accident. Tehre has been no mention of it on the wrestling websites I’ve looked at and on the video of the match on WWE.COM, it skips that part out. Also the commentators didn’t point it out either. Besides all that, I don’t think this would be in line with the new PG rated WWE. So lets hope it was an innocent accident, poor Punk!
There was no clever editing to hide his exposed backside, the camera was right there on his ass for more than the one shot, and ofcourse WWE wouldnt make mention of it, as if they’d post an admission anywhere!, dont know but I remain suspicious. The cameras work hot editing the wrestling as it happens, making it look as real as possible, but no edited cut-aways to any other number of angles of Punk which they could have cut to to avoid drawing attention. And they could have edited the embarrassing shots out after the show, why didnt they? Dont you think that is odd?
Thinking about what Rob just said about the cameras, now Im suspiciosus. And Julie says they have removed the offensive shots from the video at WWE.com yet we all saw it on our televisions! And he is right they could have edited it out after the live show was recorded, its not live editing, we would have never of known. What makes me think it is particularly suspicious is that if its a PG rated show as they keep telling us, where were the PG police to prevent that getting to air? That is suspicious!

Come to think of it, how did that get past the WWE? That is a strange incident when one thinks of the tight controls WWE applies over each of their wrestlers proffessional persona’s and image, not to forget the rating restrictions. Im not convinced that was an accident. Lucky for CM Punk he has bulletproof duds! Or was it the lucky yellow which saved his ass! Count your friends CM Punk and number your enemies!
to rob forster – I did mean the editing in the wwe.com video not the actual tv programme, cos as you rightly said it could have been taken out but wasn’t. The PG rating thing is strange to me, cos i have kids and the stuff they would normally watch of that rating doesn’t show someones ass! I’m not sure what’s going on, just trying to look at it objectively. The one thing that does intriuge me is that apart from this comment thread, no one else seems to be mentioning it at all. Not even the wrestling news websites i’ve looked at, and they usually like to make a big deal out of anything! Maybe its just wwe playing stupid games with Punk, maybe its gonna turn into something, maybe it was an accident that is trying to be brushed under the rug. I’m sure we’ll find out in the fullness of time….

I have seen the smackdown show, too, but I saw just a really small part of his butt (which you probably can see at every second building worker on the street)?!? Is that such a big drama or did I see a cencored version on television?
to lumisojo. I saw the same as you. The point for me is why it was allowed to happen on a PG rated show, it is just WWE be hypocritical again and that annoys me. I think you make a very valid point, are we reading more into this than there actually is? or did the UK edition that I watch get censored? Either way, as mentioned by several people, it could have been editted out and I believe that should have happened.Firstly, Its just making Punk look ridiculous and belittling his true talent and status, and secondly, its making a mockery of the whole PG rating thing that WWE are so big on at the moment, but just my opinion…

). I think it was an accident. Honestly I wouldn’t have noticed it if I hadn’t read it before here in the forum. Maybe the persons, who are responsible for editing, had overseen it, too. 
Sure, it might be a bad mistake and undermines the PG program, but in no other wrestling forums and rumor sides you can read about it, so I don’t believe, that it is a big oder wantet thing.

Its true, those backside shots being allowed to go onto our tv screens was belittling of CM Punk. There is no doubt in my mind it was left there to bring him down a peg or two. And if thats the kind of ship Vince is running, and if thats the people Vince has placed to crew his ship, then he can have it, cause its nasty stuff. Yeah it was half his ass, but your still seeing asscrack right? Half ass, full ass, there should have been no ass, period. And you people will notice that CM Punk is shoved right to the back of the Survivor Series poster, so disrespectful considering his status. He should be standing next to Orton at least!

True words mrperfection. Also, don’t know if its true or not, but on the list of spoilers for SD this week, Punk/Truth is listed as the first match. Which seems to be a little like WWE putting Punk in his place. As for the trunks thing, I’m still think it was an accident but should have been edited out. I vaguely remember a match years ago where some guy pulled Punk’s trunks down at the back as part of the match, a funny comedy moment kinda thing! I must admit Punk was in no hurry to pull them back up again either!
In that case, it was funny and not offensive at all, but after all the hype WWE has given about being child friendly, we expect better these days.
