So what did we think of Friday? I’m not sure the wrestling was upto the standard of the previous week. Some good stuff though, great to see more of Luke Gallows, I really feel his involvement is imperetive to the storyline, and its not before time I got his chance to show his talents. Only disappointment was that Serena was not really used too well this week. She could contribute so much more! The lead upto elimination chamber really went up a notch this week with SES standing tall over Morrison, Truth and Mysterio. Great commentary from Matt Stryker too. All in all, SD is improving again I feel.
The latest rumours I’ve heard are that Jericho is going to win the chamber to face Edge at WM26 for the WHC title, leaving HBK and Undertaker free to do something at WM. I’ve also heard that both The Undertaker and HBK will be taking time off after WM to allow for thier respective health problems. I hasten to add this is all rumours at the moment, but you know the saying there is no smoke without fire! lol
Completely unrelated, but Jeff Hardy is said to be signing with TNA after his legal issues are resolved in one way or another. He is said to be really annoyed with WWE for the promo Punk did shortly after his arrest, the one where Punk said that you would never see a mugshot of him plastered all over the internet. Whilst I have respect for Jeff Hardy the wrestler, my thoughts are that if he isn’t happy with the publicity he gets, he shouldn’t do drugs - after all, what the hell did he expect?? I also feel it important to say that the particular promo in question, Punk never even mentioned Hardy by name, so what’s he whinging at??

Just a couple of other notes: on WWE.COM power 25 Punk and Gallows have moved upto number 9, nice to see them going in the right direction again!
Also, WWE.COM the week in photos section for week 14 feb, has pictures up of all the rookies including THAT HAIR! LOL, there is also a really cool studio pic of Serena on there and a nice action shot of Punk in flight! SES do seem to be getting more publicity these past couple of weeks, its all good stuff!

@julie I doubt Punk will win ‘the chamber’. I think it probably will be like you have said above. Those other guys have been longer with the company, longer than Punk. I guess Punk will get his chance again at a later time and I don’t doubt that. Re Smackdown, yeah Luke Gallows is growing on me also….lol Serena is always all smiles. I don’t blame her being near Punk all the time. I don’t have any doubt that Serena will get her chance sooner or later- I’m talking wrestling here not what you guys might think of….lolz Yeah and R. Hi guys, yes quiet around here, I think some people put their foot in it and feel weird about coming back, come back people. In regards to Punknut, well I think he might feel that he has pissed off a few people at the WWE and with his health issues just wants to focus on what he needs to focus on. I hope he comes back too sometime, he is the heart and soul of these here comments pages and we need him, tell us your theories Suxx and Scottish, lets not start holding back on sharing opinions?

This weeks episode of Smackdown was great only really for one match and ofcourse it was our guy’s match, CM Punk/Luke Gallows (Serena) v John Morrison and R-Truth, with rey Mysterio, was a fine match, very exciting to watch, Punk and Luke were on fire, was wonderful seeing Luke Gallows step up and deliver some rocket-fuel to the match, loving his work more and more, he is the real deal and probably the best other half to any high profile superstar at the WWE. Enjoyed watching R Truth as well, was great to see him hold his own amongst all the SES feats. Miss Serena is a joy to behold as well Great match.

What the fuck is happening round here?

Punk had a great match, Luke was everywhere kicking heads, that fella is way good. Serena, Im so in love with her, freshly cropped again, so gorgeous Thankyou Serena.

I also loved that some of the ECW people are coming over to SD and Raw, bout time, all the regulars need a change once in a while and pounding the crap outta some fresh flesh is so healthy for SD and Raw.

Punks match was the only great match this week, it was darn good by any standards. SES has never been better than it is now and really I can only see it getting bigger and bigger despite Punks website quietening down.

I have to admit that even im struggling to type away here like I used to, I think the life of the party being gone has done something to dampen everyone’s spirits, mine included.

We have all become a little sensitive lately, maybe too much of a good time for the last 6 months is the reason, maybe not, maybe its the hangover we needed to have. Punknut is missed cant say otherwise. If anyone has his email, please email the man and find out what’s going on, his last post sounded like a man making his peace with the world, I didnt like the feeling that I got from reading his last comments.

Serena looks so voluptuous and nicely shaved I love you Serena. Punk and Gallows had an awesome match against Morrison and RTruth, and when Mysterio flew in it only added sugar to the mix, just awesome fun.
I too wish people would spend time checking their spelling, we all had a good understanding of grammer here and could spell but the last comments page was rubbish not worth reading, really! Check before you press say it! John C, I got the same feeling, when I read P’s comment, didnt sound too hopeful did it. My theory, and we all have one, WWE didnt want his input and honesty anymore and perhaps told him so and for us here, without his big personality this place has just chilled a little too much. Julie, can you find out what’s going on? What the WWE should get is that this place is for CM Punk but also us fans, the fans of CM Punk and that certain wrestlers should not feel insulted if a fan gives them some shit if its within the context of whatever.
Bottomline, Punk and SES should continue to roll bigtime, regardless of what happens here, CM Punk was a super hero before his comment pages came alive and he will remain one even if after all the better and analytical comments disappear.

I think that he maybe just wanted some privacy and doesn’t want people using their rather over-reactive imaginations to perceive certain moves as hidden messages towards him or against him. Which is possibly why some people might not be on coz i basically said they were being stupid, which they were, they were being silly and irrational but hey its no reason to not come on. I hope the WWE hasn’t like issued some gag order against ‘you know who’. On grammar and spelling…jordie’s spelling and grammar is so bad that I don’t think its gonna change anytime soon, we’ll just have to adapt. it wasn’t better than the rumble but the smackdown chamber was waaaay better than the raw chamber. Chris jericho won coz shawn michaels was hiding under one of the metal grates. It was quite funny. Thank god the undertaker doesn’t have the title but punk wont go after it coz he’s a heel and so is jericho. I think they’ll do a feud between rey and punk. Morrison got a big feature in the chamber, surprising but I think he deserves it. Granted he looks stupid sometimes in those coats but he’s gotta have an image. I just hope they’re not real fur.

WOW - Comments have moved on fast here! OK, I promised Punknut that I wouldn’t mention his name again, I don’t want to sound abrupt, but this is the last time I’ll mention because I’ve been specifically asked. Punknut had not been banned from the comments page. I no longer have an email address for him and I’m under the impression from the last message he sent me that he wouldn’t have internet access. I told him people were asking after him and advised him to close his WWE universe and cm punk form accounts. He sounded really pissed off that his personal stuff had come out on here, I know that it was very important to him that it remained private and he sounded really pissed off that people were using him to make points that were not appropriate. I’d guess that’s what he didn’t like, and with his health issues he ddint’ need that crap. Punknut asked me to keep the support for Punk going by carrying on with the stuff I put on here and not let the page turn back to what it was 8 monthsish ago. I am trying my best to keep this from being a “I love punk” or “I hate Punk” kind of comments page. I’d really appreciate your help in this one, whilst all comments are valid, please lets keep the serious wrestling stuff in there too. Its what Punk deserves. Anyway, that’s my thoughts. OK people, now that’s out of the way, lets get on with the serious business of the elimination chamber!
I agree that the SD chamber was better, Punk’s work was excellent as ever. His promo after eliminating R-Truth was fun and the segment between Punk and Mysterio was pure skill on both men’s parts I thought. Only slight disappointment for me was how Serena looked. I thought she looked beautiful has always, but that was just the problem, she looked too lovely! I thought it was a bit too girly and not as mean and dark as she usually looked.I think female wrestling really needs the deep dark Serena character to breath some life into it, instead of the usual “same old, same old” tarty looking female wrestlers, but then I’m a straight femaie, I suppose that is the way I’d see it! lol Serena’s screaming at Punk from outside the chamber was fabulous though. Also worth mentioning, Matt Stryker did a fine job on commentary too during Punk’s part in the chamber.
Chris Jericho was the other man of the match for me. His expressions and character in general are hillarious, and he did some great work with both John Morrison and the Undertaker. I personally would have liked to have seen Jericho win unaided, but fully understand the meaning of the HBK interference.
Rumours doing the rounds today say Y2J v Edge, HBK v Undertaker, Batista v Cena and RKO v Rhodes v Dibiase for wrestlemania matches. sounds very plausable if not a bit predictable, but only time will tell and WWE plans seem to change by the hour.lol Edge is going to reveal his decision on Raw, so at least we’ll know that one.
The other point worth noting, is that the Undertaker’s pyro malfunctioned during his entrance and set his jacket on fire. This is the reason he had to rip it off and sprint to the ring. The ref had to keep supplying him with bottled water during his time in the pod to pour on his arms and back. It is said The Undertaker was well pissed off backstage and management had to calm him down! Wouldn’t like to think I’d upset a guy like that! lol

I’m trying to remember what she was wearing, was it that dress that had silvery straps coz that was a nice dress. As long as they keep it black and her shaved head will balance out any overt girlieness in her clothing i think. But she looks proper hard when she wears more ambiguous clothes. It’s interesting coz she’s a valet in a way but makes punk look good in a different way, not in a man whore way but in a tough way.

My theory is a little less fantastical than Suxx’s. The cool guy is gone and its a simple fact that once the cool guy goes, they all go. Its no-ones fault that things are a bit flat.

One thing Ive learnt from being in the entertainment biz for years is that when one larger-than-life personality or a person with star quality arrives on the scene, whatever it is, that person tends to draw others to the cause and then later when that same person leaves, any others that he or she gathered tends to leave also. Ce la vie. No blame. Im just thankful for some good times over the last months. Lets also remember that nothing good lasts forever.
