Although I would liked to have seen this match go on longer 9and naturally a Punk team win!), I thought it was a good match, In fact think this edition of SD was the best in weeks. One thing did really jump out at me though, and I think Doggyfreak picked up on it in a previous comment, and that is the lack of interest int he heavyweight championship. Its like no one seems to care who’s holding it anymore. The fact that the title match seemsed overshadowed by DX/Hart Dynasty speaks volumes. Good entertaining show though (ok, maybe not the vickie guererro bits! ), lets hope WWE are gonna turn SD around again.

I really loved this match, how many gorgeous and talented men can you put in a wrestling ring and they all were perfect. I wanted the match to go on and on and on, but a deserved win to John Morrison and his men. Have to say, never was there a sexier bunch of bad-boys as Punk, McIntire, Dolph and Luke Gallows. The only disapointing part was it ended!

Last week was a part A, this week was a part B and both tag matches were AWESOME, pure entertainment, with a rocket-load of skill. For me, like last week too, the tag match was the best match of the show. Happy Christmas/New Year CM Punk.

Thanks Julie, and this week title match proved waht iv been saying all along, was a joke, me and Punknut have had a few discussions about that, he thinks its WWE sharing the love with the WHC Belt, but i just wish the belt would move to someone else, its so irrelevant. The Intercontinental Championship is far more interesting and like others who have recently commented, Im hoping for a more serious and meaner McIntire and less of the scarcy. He has been excellent in the tag matches and definately someone to watch. The tag team matches were the best of the last two weeks of Smackdown, and I’ll include the DX v Hart Dynasty in that, it was a quality match and the Hart kids were darn good.

Those tag matches were so cool, what can you say, find a flaw? There wasnt one! Whatever CM Punk is involved in, you just know its gona be quality and whover is in the ring with him or against him is gona deliver bigtime as well! The guy just doesnt do inferior.

Im totally with what the other folks have already said, that was wild and beautiful!, just a super high standard of high-octane wrestling. I even yelled out a couple of “whats up’s” when R-Truth came out with his team, very clever WWE, I feel completely manipulated LOL! A great match, what can I say! Great to see Dolph back, the dude is just out there! And im such a fan of the great Finlay! When Punk did the GTS on Finlay I was like, no way! Was hell good stuff. I dont think there has ever been a cooler crew of bad-asses walk down the Smackdown ramp such as CM Punk, Luke Gallows, Drew McIntire and Dolph Ziggler, thats a lethal and ominous-looking band of dudes right there! McIntire must have read our comments folks, he looked better for the serious approach. Next week against Morrison will be interesting.

Other than Team Punk v Team Truth, the only other great match was Shawn and Triple H vs the Hart dynasty, id say the Dynasty’s best match, was outstanding from those boys. But that’s what you expect from heavyweight talent like Shawn Michaels and Triple H, their going to bring out your best, im looking forward to see what happens over the weeks and months ahead.

…the wheels are falling off the Batista/Rey/Undertaker thing, that was a mess that match and stupid, sorry. The perfect way to ruin a potentially great title bout. It feels like the Batista storyline is running out of steam, c’mon people! Batista’s too good a talent to let slide!

Such a wild and untamed little thing is Mickie James, and Maria stood up this week too, but the sideline commentary thing, I so hate that shit, Ive never known a title holder to retain a belt for so long and do so little wrestling. It really is disrespectful to the folks in the ring when the camera is on the person sitting sideline. The Miz thing way back made my blood boil, this didnt (probably because Miss McCool is easy on the eyes and the best fe-heel!) but even so, its still irritating. But Mickie James was just outstanding. Luv ya Mickie!

Oh, my highlights for 2009 were,

1) CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy (simply the best, made more rivetting due to crossover real life stuff!)

2) CM Punk vs John Cena (the first match)

3) The 6 man tag match last week and the 8 man tag match this week, cant have one without the other really. It was the best of Smackdowns talent. It was a great year overall for tag matches, hopefully never again will they be considered filler-matches as they were in the past.

4) Mickie James who made me notice the female wrestlers when I didnt prior to her return. Whoever brought her back deserves a pay-rise

The 2010 wish list

1) Punk returns to WHC Title contention

2) CM Punk vs Shawn Michaels (one on one with NO INTERFERENCE)

3) CM Punk vs John Cena (a development of the first amazing matchup) with some backstage banter between them to sweeten the warfare.

4) A shredded and muscled-up Matt Hardy with a new look. I know the guy is loved and respected but he can do a whole lot better and become his own person. That’s said with sincerity Matt. So much wasted potential right there. WWE should help him out, it aint easy being second to greatness, psychologically speaking.

TO-Punkfreak, I reckon CM Punk would be a genuine breakout moviestar if he had a top director, thats the key. He should never make a film without a good director. But a film like ‘Deathrace’, or ‘Street Kings’, something hardcore where he gets to act and be an anti-hero would suit him. Being a true-type Hero like Cena would not work for Punk, moviegoers wouldnt buy it, but as an anti-hero, like any number of Bruce Willis or Jason Statham movies where they play hard-bit, street-wise or undercover cops, hell yeah. The fact that Punk has a face that says “Ive lived and dont fuck with me!” is a huge advantage. LOL. Stallone directing him in the way Stallone directed the last Rambo would be effective, gotta be raw and cutting edge, not glossy and polished like Cena’s fliks? Besides doesnt WWE finance or part-finance John Cena’s movies? No offence to Cena, but Cena’s wrestling image lends him to those types of movies. ‘The Marine’ was made not far from where I live actually! Punk’s ’straightedge announcement’ promo is the best advertisement for him selling himself to a movie studio. It says perfectly what type of character he could play - a hardcore dude with conviction who’s a lethal weapon but who has the establishment against him. Punks action sequences should be as cool as say ‘once were warriors’ or ’street kings’- hardcore and unforgiving! Id pay to see that. Unfotunately most movie studios dont take risks anymore and they load the dices and know how much cash theyre going to make back on their cliche’ pieces of shit movies before they even make em’, its all so fucking boring and predictable. Even Stallone recently said in an interview that Hollywood has no clue how to make true old-fashioned action movies, so true!, all the stupid Special FX! and pretty-boys who do weekend fighting courses to prep for an action movie and tell the media they do all their own stunts! You lying fuckers!. But people dont look outside of the box do they? Even a 50% risk is too high a risk for a studio these days! I watched ECW this morning. A weak match from Matt Hardy. I really am concerned about this apparent incoming feud with Punk on SD, I dont think Matt is ready for it, he doesnt look right in his present condition for how massive it could be if done properly, it hasnt even started and Im already feeling its already consigned to second place behind Jeff’s war with Punk and that is not how it should be approached.

I was never a fan of Tommy Dreamer but the mans farewell speach was ALL HEART. He seems like a great man and I appreciate a person with passion for what he does, was a great moment. I am not surprised that Punk is heading back there again next week, they need his vitality and skill to inject life into the lifeless body that is ECW… well he is called the surgeon general! I do hope Tommy’s departure and all the visiting stars to ECW is a sign they are trying to fix the problems with that show, cause it has major problems. Christian, Shelton Benjamin, Ezekial, the excellent Baretta and Croft, the gorgeous Tiffany, Vance Archer, Id keep these folks and say farewell to ALL the others. Bring in some fresh talent, wake everyone up from their coma! Shelton needs a bigger exposure, he is such a standout that dude. CM Punk vs Baretta and Croft, thats the perfect way to shock-start an old heart. 1 vs 2, with Punk winning ofcourse, he’s the superstar, it could be awesome. ECW needs to start thinking outside the box. ECW is currently lost in nowhere-land. And the homecoming matches have all been piss-weak thus far. The last good match was when Punk was last there, no wonder they want him back there again.

I wish you were sometimes wrong punknut but ECW is currently on life-support and M. Hardy did nothing to impress me either by his appearance and performance there. Like you I feel anxious about this rumored feud with CM Punk and like you I dont think M.Hardy is anywhere near where he should be and I struggle greatly to understand why the WWE wont begin to help transform wrestlers like M.Hardy into better versions of themselves. How many people here at cmpunk.com have noted and commented and given strong positive suggestion about his potential, the weight-issues and appearance of M.Hardy and yet nothing seems to provide a catalyst to betterment. One of the female comment-makers here I recall is an image consultant and she gave great free advice but nay, no change. And CM Punk will be the one to carry the load as always and push to that extra 20% to cover lacking opposition when things fail to reach the dizzy heights and we will have to listen to the WWE commentators make excuses for M. Hardy and hear them say repeatedly “Matt is the heart and soul of Smackdown, Matt has recently had abdominal surgery etc etc etc etc”, which is their way of excusing his waist-line and other failings, things that CAN so easily be corrected by a strict diet and a regimented training program. The man is surrounded by fitness-fanatics and body-builders, what’s the problem?! If he can endure blows to his stomach in the ring then he can endure a rigorous weight-loss and creatine program for muscle building and toning. You are accurate in saying it could be big, it SHOULD be big, but unless the WWE is aiming to topple Jeff Hardy versus CM Punk, [and they should be] a very big ask nontheless, why do something if to only seal a pale second podium position, because that is where M. Hardy sits with me, unfortunately. Ive always made strong comment and for me [and I know Im not alone in this] it [based upon M. Hardy's performance at ECW] smacks of a lack of preperation from M. Hardy for what should be something exceptional and a great opportunity for him to equal his great sibling’s attainments. He should be busting his backside to shock the WWE with a new M. Hardy and rise to the challenge of even being remotely competent against someone like the great CM Punk.

Hi Bill, that’d be me, the former image consultant. Im a mom now, but I was good at my job. Appreciate the fact that people read and remember the comments we all make here.

Here’s a suggestion RE: MATT HARDY and the waist-line issue. WWE, order him a new pair of pants for a start, as the light purple lycra spandex pants are too skin-tight and leg-hugging and only emphasise his middle region in a negative way. A pair of skin/suede/ kidd etc (flat not shiny) pants along the lines of John Morrison’s cut, with a slight flair at the bottom. This will have the effect of evening-out his appearance from head to toe. Recognizing that the Hardy color is purple Id go with a dark purple to add some depth, the present light purple says “I cant be taken seriously!”. Im pretty sure that will go a long way to helping him ‘look’ balanced and thinner than what he is. And hopefully in the following weeks he will lose some weight, eat healthy and tighten everything up. I believe in you Matt, have confidence in yourself sweety.

Great advice from RobynW, also by concentrating muscle building on the top parts, shoulders and gunns, it has the effect of widening his frame above the stomach/ torso areas. Look at Batista, even if he went on a food-binge for 6 months and got fat, he’d still look reasonably small in the middle cause his arms and shoulders are so massive and cut-up. The fastest way to muscle-up is with a supplement, there’s plenty of good natural ones, Im sure Batista, or R-Truth or McIntire could enlighten. McIntire got noticably bigger after arriving at Smackdown if I remember rightly, he did it quickly too. Acai berry is the big thing now and that shit works and fast, trust me, get on it Matt! If these rumors are true that CM Punk awaits you for a feud, then you’ll wanna be ready! Please dont disrespect CM Punk by expecting WWE to give you possible victories when you dont look like you are in his league. Besides, arnt you tired of being known as somebody’s brother!? Suxx, Punknut and I were thinking the same thing, shame cause it was an important week in Smackdowns history as far as we were concerned, such a perfect episode and we had a lot to say about the development of McIntyre, who was outstanding. If the new page is not up shortly I told Punknut to just add his review to this page then later re-post it to the new one. Its all a bit of bad timing.

Agree, maybe Punk shouldve hired a girl-friday. I thought it was an important show in terms of what everyone put into it. It was clear to me that everyone put their blood sweat and tears into making this episode. We pride ourselves in being able to talk about stuff reasonably intelligently here and yeah its not the best timing for first show of the year. What happened?

Well, its (Aussie time) 5 days since Smackdown, dont know whats happened round here?!!! Anyways, folks apologies for this being a long one but I cant really do the show justice without doing it properly, hopefully you guys find it a good read nonetheless. I challenge anyone in sports media to find me a better-made sports production, of any sporting genre. All the shit I threw at WWE since CM Punk re-ignited my childhood passion for wrestling, they can now hopefully understand as being justified in light of them addressing the issues and producing a flawless episode of sports entertainment. All of my criticisms they listened to and overcame and its resulted in pure excellence. As far as Im concerned, 1-1-2010 was a new standard in sports media. If anything ever goes wrong you folks at WWE should just look at that episode and analyse why it worked. Ok, onto the show.

Is there anything better than seeing CM Punk in full flight! The complex and varied reactions he gets from the audience is amazing and should tell you something about how good this guy is with a mic in his hand or in the ring. Looking at the faces of the folks in the crowd (and hearing the crowd reactions LOL), some deeply upset and full of hate, others titilated, others confused and baffled, more horrified and disturbed, others just completely down with it and enjoying the ride. It was one of his most relaxed and most powerful promo’s he’s ever delivered. Now lets be frank, with Matt Hardy currently pumping at 80% WWE made the right decision to give CM Punk the green-light to dismantle and ultimately demolish Matt Hardy. It was a strong match thanks to Punks abilities and credit to Matt for helping Punk deliver a beautiful GTS. Punks kicks were sublime. I just love Punk and Gallows together, Luke has completely fulfilled the quota of what a henchman should be and he shines but never steals the light from CM Punk a fine line to walk. And whilst some (even in my home LOL!) were disturbed by Gallows and Punk finishing off Matt after it was won, part of me in regard to dissappointment thought Matt deserved it. But ultimately CM Punk set up a awesome start to what would be a relentless and exciting show. His presence overshadowing the show only made it stronger (RE the rumoured feud - an idea, delay the feud with Matt til he’s sorted and hire Shelton Benjamin ASAP for a shock entrance to Smackdown and an immediate war with CM Punk - Do it shock n awe style and it would be genuinely exciting and hardcore, I have no doubts!)

Ziggler vs Kane - Seeing Kane grappling with the expertise of a Judo/Ju-jitsu champion was impressive! Man, that was good and a genuine shock, I wasnt expecting that. And for a big man to keep up the speed that Dolph Ziggler usually sets was amazing to watch. It was a fantastic match and the result was fair considering what Kane revealed in this match. Ziggler, Im a fan of this guy, his frenetic and relentless dogged persistence and craziness makes him a standout wrestler. Was a great match.

The Great khali vs ‘Why the fuck did I ever want to be a wrestler!’ LOL! That was the perfect match for Khali, less movability, destroying his opposition quickly and him being his charming self, was a fun and effective 2 minutes. My fave Khali match. Some idiot on another website rated the Khali match 5th, but with this episode it was unfair to rate matches, everything and everyone was perfect for what they have the abilities to achieve. Khali was fantastic.

Now, one of the more interesting and exciting matches, Morrison vs Drew McIntire. What can ya say but WOW! WWE, if its not too late, dont change the belt, let McIntire retain for 3 or 4 more weeks at least and go deep and hardcore. It is one of the hardest asks in the WWE to hold ones own against the flashy and brilliant John Morrison, and this week for the first time (minus the excellent humourous stuff theyve done over recent weeks) Drew McIntire did it, the man was fucking awesome. Doggyfreak and me had a mini- international conference LOL! and discussed him over the weekend on the phone and we both agreed that this feud was just re-born into. McIntire entered the arena a stronger presence stoney-faced, he looked more focussed and more determined and in the ring he delivered bigger, stronger and more powerful moves which only magnified his presence. Gone was the smirking and silly 5 year-old slap-fighting thing which always shit me off, replaced with big powerful moves and a controlled anger which really worked. With your entrance Drew, watch back the match and when you squat-jumped on Morrisons knees look at your face, your eyes particularly, arched brows - thats how you should enter the stadiums. Looking like someone just pissed all over the scottish flag. Seething, but contained. Its all in the eyes man. Doggy said to say also look at pic 3 of 65 on yor WWE page, where your standing next to Punk and Gallows, that look is what you want when you walk into an arena. It says “think again before you fuck with me!” The smirk will still have its place later on, but now run with something bigger, badder and more serious. Was an awesome match! Congrats to both dudes. You have one more fan Mr McIntire. Doggy and me will talk a bit more about it after this post.

The ladies - so entertaining. When Mickie ripped the shirt right off Laylas back and Miss McCool accidently resulted in Beth’s loss, McCool’s face was priceless. Hilarious stuff, Beth’s confusion at the outset and her antics at departure from the ring was funny as hell. Mickie and Michelle are totally gorgeous and a credit to Smackdown. Loving what the writers are doing with the ladies.

Im not doing this in order at this point for a reason, so Batista vs R-Truth. Like two shredded Roman Gladiators bashing the living fuck outta each other! Batista’s back baby, OH YEAH! And R-Truth was the only guy who couldve given that kind of support, he was outstanding. I was so concerned over Batista after last week and after the error that was the Kanye thing, that shit really weakened his character and was unnecessary and a stupid invention from whover thought thatd be clever. But this week the man was rolling like a freight-train. And he gave R-Truth everything and R-Truth absorbed it all, Truth looked genuinely spent just before the end, thats how hard Batista was going. Was awesome. Hopefully, since CM Punk revealed such things in R-Truth, that R remains for the foreseeable future in some of the big matches, he’s getting better and better. Ive even learnt to tolerate (and almost!) enjoy the song haha LOL! Whats up R! LOL! Batista’s spear…oh man! Dude I have this brick wall at my place and I really cant afford a construction crew, any chance you could demolish it for me? LOL! I reckon he’d go through… LOL!

Finally, we get to the match that completely rocked me. FUCK ME SWINGING! What a match! The best thing that ever happened for Chris Jericho was that he got rid of those stupid fucking belts. For the first time since Ive been watching him, he delivered a focussed, tight, concentrated and truly amazing performance. And I noticed his genuine nerves just prior to the fight starting. And considering what Rey and him were expected to achieve - a 1 second result, that is pressure in anyones book! No wonder he looked nervous, but he delivered bigtime. Its ironic isnt it that the criticisms by idiots about wrestling being fake etc (and understanding that fact!) only further reveals how amazing these guys are - 1 second! 1 second! I cant even get my head around how those guys did that! Now, Rey Mysterio - sir, you gave me GOOSEBUMPS with that performance. The man was on fire! I shit you not, that was a performance which transcended. It was beyond a 10. Five days later the hairs still stand up on my arms when I think of Rey’s performance. It was a thing of beauty. You deserve that HWC belt Rey, after that performance, give it to him WWE.

The producers should be congratulated, the director, sir/ ma’am?, outstanding work, there wasnt a flaw in the show, I was rivetted for two hours and it was a pleasure to watch. The sideline thing, with both the gorgeous Miss McCool and Layla and later with Rey just proved what Id been saying to you folks. It worked. You dont need to distract from the match with talking and meaningless carry-on, we saw them sideline, we knew they were there for a reason, we could still stay focussed on the match and they got involved when required to great effect. You managed it perfectly, and the results were there to be seen. No loss of excitment, no distractions, no frustration from your viewers, was perfect. Your editing for ad-breaks was heavenly too, after the promo’s not in the middle of an exciting match. Was brilliant and it let the excitment and tension build as it should to deliver a powerhouse and magnified result. So a big thank-you for listening to me (and the other folks here, we appreciate it…) Id love a copy of this episode of Smackdown.

Absolutely, they are smart people, look at last weeks show, it cant be better than that. Punks cult storyline, I already wrote about where they should take it, get everyone involved… the more the better, be great fun and end it with Vince being part of Punks cult, briefly. All cult leaders come apart in the end and eventually (after WWE has exhausted (with quality) the ‘adventures of the straightedge master’ then Luke and everyone else who got involved with it should turn on him and it all comes crashing down, thus Punk gets re-born as a lone-wolf again and begins a vengeance campaign against those who turned on him. Anyway, if WWE gets lost they can email me. Im pretty-good with the crazy stuff! LOL!

No-body owns an idea remember and the WWE has always been generous with letting the fans outline a lot of the story-line stuff. Its a gr8 way to source ideas and the fans by and large get what they want, mostly. Punks current direction via the storyline is an original direction, it all gets a bit boring when its just the usual formula feuds. The secret is to not get too complex and keep it fun and interesting for the fans. Look at the way Punk has invigorated his promo work, look at the new and varied reactions from the crowds, they are loving it, even if they hate him!

We were both really worked up with joy and happiness LOL at what McIntyre and Morrison came up with on this weeks show. McIntyre showed me how excellent he can be when he’s really connected to his character, I loved that he took our idea with the new manuerisms. Yeah Jas, the eyes have it man, thats all he needs to do in my opinion is squint more, focus his stuff in the eyes and he’s a new and stronger character, Jesus he looked mean. McIntyre should hold that belt for a while longer and take it to a more personal place, get passed the fun stuff, really get in each others face. The match was one of the best Ive seen and the brawl at the end was full-on! Any ideas?

How about McIntire at this weeks promo (if there’s still time! DAMN!) he gives the WWE Universe an explanation as to why the new attitude, even my GF said, “Christ Drew looks pissed… and different” Something like, “You see any changes in me Morrison since last week?, Ive just been playing with you up until now. I took your IC belt off you and I was just playing!” “You think you know me John? You dont know me, but youre gonna learn!, the hard way!” Morrison looks like ‘whats going on here???’ then McIntire demolishes him like Morrison has never been demolished before! Sorry John! Then ofcourse, Morrison in following weeks has the challenge of clawing his way back to ultimately regain his belt in a mammoth title match. I think that should do, but McIntire has gotta be brutal! Methodical and brutal. Our friend Sun-Tzu made the highlander analogy as a joke last week, but seriously that was a good angle, a big, hard Scotsman who could have been pulled from an ancient clan of warriors - that attitude. And the style that McIntire used in this weeks match was so effective. Now hes starting to look like him and less like a formula heel, smirking, arrogant, nothing is serious attitude, leave that shit behind for a while and concentrate on who Drew McIntire is. This week he revealed it. Was an awesome battle.

CM Punks best promo, he was tremendous. No-one can do it as radically as he can. And his defeat of Matt Hardy was huge. Im happy WWE is seeing the light regarding Matt, and I hope WWe takes Punknuts idea about Shelton Benjamin, there’s no-one at Smackdown who is good enough or even available to feud with Punk at a top level, Shelton would be excellent and a progression from R-Truth, could tie in nicely.

Id prefer Shelton Benjamin to Christian, but the rumor is its Christian, bad choice, he is limited in skill next to CmPunk and Shelton.

Christian could work??? He is not the best wrestler but he is popular. Hard to tell with Christian whether it could be a good thing or not. Shelton is a very able wrestler however, not much he cannot do. Higher profile = Christain vs Better Wrestler = Shelton. What will WWE go for ???

And it was the best ep of Smackdown ive seen too. There was no time to eat dinner with all the action. And it was massive action. Go Punk! McIntyre was good as well, held up well against a high-flying John Morrison. Rey was the best he’s ever been, the crowd went crazy when he won

Im sure that our departed Mr Punknut isnt surprised that some stars from WWE are now going with Hulk Hogan, and neither am I. I am happy for Hulk that TNA has had a flying start with him at the helm and Im not surprised Hulk fired back at Punk. Maybe it woudve been better if Punk had have just indicated he was not interested in moving to TNA if it was ever proposed to him by Hulk or Hulk’s people. The fact that Jeff is now there says something about the increased competition in the wrestling media since Hulk heightened the stakes. Its also interesting that the opening segment of Smackdown and RAW and ECW has removed the “Hulkomania is running last” from Hulk himself, to a more friendly Hulk statement. I wanna smash something right now. The front page is cool because of the stuff that is writen here and its cool because of one guy who helped change that. It wasnt easy being a CM Punk fan when it was all the Jeff Hardy retarded fans hating everything we liked and stood for. I never felt comfortable in the forums, lot of judgement in there and a lot of us who foolishly ventured in there soon after left not knowing the secret handshake and one guy made it cool to have an opinion without having to be a expert and know how many dumps a day CM Punk has or what every tattoo on his body means or who does his hair. He was one of us and now hes gone. Im so pissed right now.

I was in the forums for a short time with a different name,I lasted two weeks and I left. If you have a penis you’l last one week in there. IIts them and us, black and white, day and night and only suxx (though she got into a frucus too but somehow survived) and scottish somehow manage to float between the two without getting there heads chopped off. Im goning to miss punknut a lot.

No denying the guy is, was popular for any number of reasons, I thought about this overnite, actually it filled my head for some reason, but Punknut was probably the most influential propaganda-ist in the wrestling community who did not actually work for the wrestling community, supposedly. He bashed an empire from 50,000 miles away and they listened to him and improved the quality of their shows [well Smackdown} as a result, that is pretty impressive. We all loved the improvements, me particularly the changes to the wrestler ringside at commentary, and the last Smackdown we agree was the very best. And he even praised them when things were working better. I would love to know what happened? Other communities snap up influential people, even upstart and smart troublemakers like Punknut lol, if TNA or some other group have pinched him, all I can conclude is that the WWE are just way too slow recognising talent when it appears . Even his disapearance has created interest, that is impressive in anyones book.

The most recent nastiness was one of the girls, the cool robi 2345 ?posted a couple of things and started one post with the words ‘I can now confirm…’ which made her sound sort of official, some other bitch in the forums emailed the wwe and asked if anyone at cmpunk.com worked for the wwe and the wwe apparently replied ‘no’. Now that is NASTY and BITCHY. Everyone of us has the right to enjoy our 15 minutes of fame, its part of being a punk fan, so why do that stuff to a kid who’s just posting and trying to have fun? I HATE THE FORUMS.

I remember this. I was the one who asked Robi what he (according to Robi SHE is a HE??????? because HE has a girlfriend???- see Paramore thread on the forum lol ) meant with ‘I can confirm now’. I asked him/ her? whether he/she had some insider info or works for the WWE lol. And you are telling me now someone else ACTUALLY emailed the WWE office? How come you know this? I didn’t really notice any drama in the forums, is there any reason why he/she left? (i can never tell if someone is a girl or guy, their definetely a guy?) illness? or just us talkin about cm punk’s beard all the time. Robyn - ive been kicked out of forums before for not recognising authority or simply being a smartarse, i used to get kicked out of guilds in World of Warcraft because i challenged a 12 year olds who were leaders of the guilds. On certain forums, if people are just mature, i get along fine but obviously still like to have a good old perve. Good moderators are people who let people moderate themselves and are flexibile. Some people are just closet fascists and meglomaniacs. I remember the days when I was banned from certain websites and message boards because of being public about my own life. I went out with a big bang all the time. I had opened myself up to those who pitied me and hated me. It’s a double edged sword as one might say. I learned my lesson the hard way. I also had my own site but people could not stop harassing me. After that VH-1 New York was after me but I refused to go on there. I don’t really mind that there is an ‘undercurrent’ in the CM Punk forum. I know that I’m a different caliber anyway.

Hey i had trouble on a website, we started talking about vibrators or something, there was some people on the board who were out for one of the girls that i was mates with. The whole thing turned into some kinda cyber war, coz they set up a website where they just talked shit about all the people they hated on that website, these people weren’t particularly nice themselves. Apparently i was known as a martyr mainly coz i looked liked a victim, which i was. Anyway the webmistress eventually figured out they weren’t good for the website, i think one of them, it turned out she had been drinkin a lot while all this was happening. They were always very hierarchical and a lot of them were mods. The forum’s a lot better believe me.

Punknut was cool in that he somehow shifted focus by posting controversial and interesting comments and people felt compelled to read and reply, Doggyfreak and Julie and the Metalliaca fan and a girl named Punkbville66 [who was one girl I always remember stood her ground out here when a forum member who came out to the comments page to criticize her for her opinion, that member never came out again thank god] the rest of us soon followed and here we all are enjoying our own thoughts and opinions and nobody says zip about it. Im grateful to Punknut for that. Im Canadian by the way, some of us still speak and write the Queen’s English when we are not pretending we can speak French lol

Absolutely to what Robyn said, I have no hard feelings and want us all to get along better2. We are going to need to do this now that Punknut has left, I think we are all aware that things will quiten down in his absence. And the thinkers in the forums need to start sharing the love and accepting that we are ALL punk fans even if some of us dont know every detail about his life, we are ALL cool people.
