A solid match, was very entertaining and a original winning strategy.
I think Chris Jericho summed up this week’s episode of Smackdown when he chose to walk out on his match with an attitude that said “Ive had a gutful, Ive got a headache, I cant be fucked, im outta here!” LOL! That was pretty much how the whole of this weeks SD played out – with the exception of one match, that magnificent 6-man tag match, “OH YEAH”! Again CM Punk and his co-horts Luke Gallows, Drew McIntire, and R-Truth, Matt Hardy with John Morrison in opposition, stole the main event and left everything else in their wake with their innovation, skills and energy. Punk and Luke Gallows looked for the first time truly bonded and Gallows was outstanding. LOL! SLAMMED BY A SLAMMY! LOL! How cool and the perfect way to get a victory. One move in particular blew my mind, I have no clue what its called but when Punk was on the rope and Gallows had Morrison stradled and Punk jumped onto him and flipped him! FUCK, that was crazy! Whew! To the idiot that calls himself CM JOKE (previous page) there’s your answer right there tough guy, not many guys would put their bodies on the line in such a dangerous way, mis-time that and its life in a wheelchair! Punk’s timing and placement was freaky! That move shocked me, incredible!. John Morrison – now there’s a man with great trust! And as everyone knows Ive not warmed to Drew McIntire but ofcourse being alongside CM Punk shit gets figured out. McIntire, he’s a big lad with a lot of charisma, but he’s holding back. He needs to go darker, lose the ‘too-cool-for-school-attitude’ and he’l be better for it. The best tag match of 2009 I reckon.

CmPunk and Festus looked lethal together. McIntire was a fantastic third wheel. The perfect 3 man tag-team. Forget the rest of the show.
THE 3 KINGS, PUNK, GALLOWS AND MCINTIRE. I agree, best match of smackdown this week, one of the best tags of the year. The re-run of that match was just as sweet the second time.

Im hoping we’l see Punk and Gallows with Drew McIntire again, he looked great with Punk and Luke. First time I really liked Drew.
Was a powerful six man combo, everyone was on-form, but Punk and Gallows rocked. CM Punk really is the man, watching that hardcore fucker really is a treat. And for the record I like UFC too, but I have 100% RESPECT for wrestlers like CM Punk and Jeff Hardy who risk so much and push the boundaries. That was HARDCORE! Happy Christmas CM PUNK, LITA and the WWE. Thanks for a great year of wrestling (minus the Undertaker fuckup!)
Regards to Jeff and Matt Hardy2, here’s hoping you guys have a better end to 09 and 10 is all positive. Jeff, you and Punk were the icing on WWE’s calender this year. I pray there is peace between you guys going forward.

Wow, this was the second time me and my tag buddy have freaked out watching the master CM Punk perform marvels. That drop was sickening. Big risks, big rewards. When will we be as good as that, I fear never. You are a hero CM Punk. PS What was wrong with Rey, he donsnt like well.
Love you Punk, awesome tag match, the other matches sucked! And I mean every other match. Thank God for CM Punk and the other 5 wrestlers in that match. The slammy hit was funny
It feels like since the first match with John Cena, CM Punk is again on the rise. He seems to be getting better matches. I thought things were on the slide after Undertaker didnt work out so good [not Punks fault] but he’s looking more central again to Smackdown and Smackdown is so much better for it. It wasnt a good show this week but Punk’s match was amazing to watch. There wasnt a weak link in that match, six consumate professionals. And yeah some insane maneuvors! Gallows was a real trooper this week, he’s become the perfect henchman/ally for CM Punk, all my initial doubts are now rested. The man has one mean boot! Punks slammy has even more prestige now, he won it for retiring Jeff Hardy, but it has touched the lives of both Hardy’s now! LOL

Forgot to say, aka punknut’s mention on Drew McIntire. So true, I could never put my finger on what wasnt working for me with McIntire either man, but you nailed it, he doesnt connect with people even as a heel because he’s grinning and smirking and it just seems facetious or not real. Yeah, darken the mood, be more serious, keep it real and he needs something more to his wrestling arsenal, he’s a bit lightweight in that regard. CM Punks like an x-ray machine, put other wrestlers with him or against him and you can see right through them! They either get exposed as less-than or he makes them better because their problems become clearer to analysis, such is the master. No wonder they call Punk the ‘surgeon general’. He performed a miracle for Cena, found Taker wanting, revealed the great unrealised promise of Matt Hardy, lifted R-Truth from the basement to credibility, and will help sort McIntire if the honchos want to make him a true and legitimate superstar. The scotsman has an imposing presence he just needs some adjustments to be really effective. But he did look great walking down the runway with Punk and Festus, what a dream tem of hard men.
Sure Rob, Drew could improve or create more of a connection with the fans by following along the lines of what you and punknut said, he’s still a bit middle of the road as they say. But I really liked him with Punk, was a superb dynamic. Boy it was a good match. Top way to see out the year. Happy Xmas people

Hey folks, apparently in next weeks Smackdown (Xmas night) Punk is going to be involved in an 8 man tag team with the addition of Dolph Ziggler to his current team and Finlay added to John Morrison’s existing team. No spoilers on who victors (and dont reveal if anyone finds out, thanks!) but all I can say is CANT WAIT! OH YEAH!

Phwoar crikey, that’s really…sweet. You got your head in the clouds but…sometimes (as Albus Dumbledore says, he’s not real i know) “It doesn’t do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.” And maybe if you made sure that fantasy stays in fantasy land and reality stays in reality land then you wouldn’t feel so bad. It can be hard when your young and you do dream, and it can be reallly annoying when fantasy isn’t reality, coz they feel so good but once you’ve accepted it you can enjoy watching cm punk without having that angsty feeling in your heart. And boy do i dream – i dream of marrying him and having babies with him but…its just dreaming and it won’t ever happen and im cool with that, so i dont feel so crap about not having that and tbh i would never admit it to someones face that i dream about those things, sounds so corny but hey seeing fathers with their children is so attractive i think
