So the nipple rings are back, FTW! WWE actually takes some decent digitals, and I’m proud of them for that. As for Batista and the match itself, it was what it was for. I have a feeling ‘Tista did that, because Vince told him to help him beat up Hart, than later on, he will get a title shot. One on one. Something along those lines, but Punky’s motions and expressions at the end, after winning was hilarious…

The ending, with The Cutting Edge, was great. “Vacation,” “No, ladies and gentleman,” were some good little sayings.

All in all, Smackdown’s Chamber looks more appealing than Raw’s. Jericho, R-Truth, Morrison, CM Punk, The Undertaker, and Rey Mysterio. I could go without Mysterio, but that’s my own personal views. I think Morrison deserved it instead of Drew McIntyre, because John Morrison deserves to at least be in top contential for a big title, and Drew has the Intercontinental Championship.

Once again, Smackdown beat Raw, though Raw was really dreadful.

Way to go Batista, what a match! lol I agree thatedgeyman, it was all done for a reason, lets hope its in Punk’s favour whatever the big picture is. Some amazing expressions and character building from Punk again, the celebrations were hilarious, love the screen capture of Luke holding up Punk, how funny does that look as a picture! lol
Dolph Ziggler was the top draw from me this week, I was a little disappointed that Mike Knox wasn’t used to his full potential, but on the whole a pretty good SD that makes RAW pale into insignificance. Lets see what Monday night brings with the tag titles, pressuming they actually have the match this time!
I’m more impressed with SD chamber contenders too, Raw bunch is the usual suspects that we all knew were going to be in there. Some nice choices on SD Punk, Jericho and Morrison are good choices for me, although I think Jericho hasn’t been at his best lately, but setting up to be a good elimation chamber for SD participants..hopefully its all coming good

Hi Julie, ThatEdgeyMan, I can think of one person who I believe might have just quietly enjoyed the CM Punk/Batista non-match presuming he got to see it. It was very funny. I did notice as Raw and Smackdown converged this week in close regional proximity that they both experienced their worst crowds maybe ever. On Smackdown the only wrestler who got a cheer was R-Truth and the reason was probably because he provided a song. lol Maybe they all thought they were at a Faith Hill concert but no faith other than the spiritual might that is the straightedge society! [pun intended] . And dont the Christians just love CM Punk? It seems they have changed tactics, now they wont honor him even with boo’s, its the ‘silent treatment’ lol. His enthusiasm at victory and the joy of his compatriots was vey enjoyable to watch. Considering my views at last post RE our UFC friend, all I can add is that a little bit of blood is a good thing for the wrestling, the adult viewers notice it but the kids dont. Seeing Matt Hardy and Jericho get bloodied was good thing, can only add to the correction of the misinformed that wrestling is not a tough sport. Overall the matches were not great neither was the show on the whole, but it was still a strong Smackdown by comparison to the terrible and struggling Raw. I will try from here on the mention the women because punknut always made an effort to do so. It was pleasing to see Mickie James with her Championship belt and to see Michelle McCool get through a whole match based solely on wrestling per se.

Great comments guys, John C, absolutely, WWE needs to give CM Punk the go ahead to take the next big step, those darn religious types just aint biting no more if this episode is any indication, tricky churchies!. Get in their faces Punk, stir em up, maybe a bit of hot-poking before wrestlemania, like test the waters. Its what punknut would have wanted, dont take a backward step in going forward. HARDCORE. Batista’s expressions and Punks excitment at a win without war was hilarious, especially as the comatosed crowd sat motionless and mute. Very funny stuff.

Jaggerblade – they say country music does that to a person, like removes a person’s personality LOL. Dumb, dead crowds, Raw was worse, but you cant expect anyone to enjoy what Hunter did this week, but even zombies can appreciate the work put in by the wrestlers at Smackdown. Did anyone notice Big Shows mile apart miss on the ref, they covered the re-run of the disasterous miss with a camera shot so designed to hide the distance between the ref and Big Shows big fist. Its one clear reason why I prefer the blue team, because our wrestlers mostly have impeccable timing, unlike on Raw.

Didnt our fave Punk fan say that many times, that focus and timing is everything!

Indeed, Dolph Ziggler was the best wrestler this week, based on the fact that he has perfect timing and is a hard worker in the ring. Punk was funny, Batista was very cool, just the way he looked at Punk and then nonchalantly stepped out of the ring was priceless. I liked it.

The next Raw with Punk/Gallows and DX is the next thing on Punks calendar, shame about Miz being included, the heat has gone out of it. And in light of what punknut and doggyfreak said about Triple H Id expect Triple H/ Dx to have another win over CM Punk if only as a reply to their comments. Or worse the Miz defeats Punk/Gallows! Nothing would surprise me. But I hold out hope, CM Punk is the only name doing standout things for the WWE at the moment, be unhealthy for the WWE to hold him back, my thinking.
I will be very keen to see if there are any inside gestures from the Smackdown cast next week knowing what has been revealed here at CMPUNK.COM in the last few days and all the support our secret UFC guy gave to Smackdown and the wrestlers there in his comments.
