This seems a little odd posting something for which there is no longer an audience, but what the hell, for nostalgias sake one last time. Before I get to Smackdown, let me say I keep reading here and on the net mainly from CM Punk’s female fans that he should shave, I would like to remind them that the man is playing a character and when he is finished chanelling any number of cult leaders that he has researched for his SES/cult leader character, then he should shave the beard but hopefully not before, besides the wild man come Mongol warrior look is something I find very cool and interesting to watch, its ORIGINAL and it adds depth and a little craziness to his character, and originality is hard to find. I fully expect CM Punk to return to his old sexy smooth ways once SES has run its course and all of his adoring female fans can be happy once again. Can anyone say looking at his latest superstar of the day photo that the man doesnt look totally cool and fascinating? I am a fan of how CM Punk has created and measured his character.

Best match and Im dissapointed no-one gave him praise here amongst his own people – Luke Gallows. His performance was truly marvelous to watch, he really is one of the most outstanding big men in the WWE, he looks and delivers like no other and compliments CM Punks brilliance perfectly. He gives his match-work so much credibility and always adds something extra to CM Punks always electric performances and microphone work. It was a great match and Rey Mysterio was wonderful as opposition, no surprises there ofcourse, I was surprised how good Gallows and Mysterio looked together as combatants, amazing match!, so underated unfortunately. Serena looked beautiful as always and she herself continues to add some spice to the matches. SES is a wonderful creation and I hope it gets to achieve its promise and that the WWE creative team will remain careful in its every step and avoid falling into silliness.

The only other great match was Shelton Benjamin with Dolph Ziggler, the disapointment in Benjamin of last week was overcome with a more excelerated and powerful match and Ziggler was electric and dogged as he always is to make it even better. If Shelton Benjamin continues to bring speed and quickness into his match work, he will move beyond the ECW stigma and begin to assume a stronger presence within the WWE. Hopefully he will remain aware of his tendency to slow down too quickly and make changes therein.

I have to say this too and I hope I will not be accused of ‘bashing’ heaven forbid but the Matt Hardy thing baffles me, the WWE fires Maria but they retain Matt Hardy, its an oddity which defies reason, at least from my perspective. I guess they have their reasons and I suspect that reason is Matt’s now TNA-signed brother. Good ridance I say. Im hoping, Matt to follow him sooner than later.

At the last I say its been interesting visiting CM Punk.com and discussing all the interesting and eventful things occurring at the WWE, I wont miss an episode of Smackdown, especially a SES segment/match but I guess for people like me and all the other vanished thinkers, its to the next thing. I don’t get why *so called* WWE fans always have to have a GO at other fans? How stupid are you? Only because someone likes Punk doesn’t mean the person doesn’t like Hardy & Co. or Jericho etc. All you wrestler bashers should come back when you have learned to cry. Haha I’m great I had a science exam today but I think I did okay I have seen this weeks smackdown you heard right suxx punker is great and hilarious and absolutely beautiful like always but he was super lovely! And hilarious you can not miss this… I forbid you to miss this.

sophie I have watched it. I did not find Punker that hilarious this time around.(Damn WWE writers). Where is your machismo Rey….umm yeah where would one think it could be in front of the own family……as a parent I did not like the promo segment that much either. Was this really Rey’s REAL family? I know they are in the process of building up this fight Rey vs Punk but how they started to do this now is NOT my cup of tea, i.e. involving the REAL family. I thought Punker’s singing was creepy too. It reminded me of a horror movie. Poltergeist. LOL Yet again, damn writers! Punker is THE HEEL at the moment. lol When the show started Punker called Rey a coward and when the show ended Punker was the coward himself running away from Rey. LOLING I wonder how this goes on.
