Yeah, CM Punk didn’t do anything huge, but he has a big match on Sunday, maybe they wanted him 100 %.
I was really glad to see The Rock, but too bad the message was recorded, he should have done that live. I hope he guest hosts on RAW, that would be something. And what he said about CM Punk, he was joking, The Rock plays around with everyone, that’s just who he is.
I really hope CM Punk beats Undertaker, then the fans have to respect him! (The ones who boo)
Congratulations to Vince, Teddy and all the folks at Smackdown. Was a fun episode (minus the one dark cloud!)and great to see everyone in a relaxed atmosphere, was a bit different.
Seeing the General Manager toasting and having the two best and most authentic wrestlers at Smackdown Finlay and CM Punk either side of him on stage said a lot to me about the integrity and heart of what Smackdown is and how it differs from RAW.
The 8 man tag-team match was a dog’s breakfast but to be fair it couldnt have been anything else with the 8 biggest stars in WWE in the ring at one time. Was still fun to watch. Seeing Punk and Shawn Michaels in the ring together was such a missed opportunity, a tone of chemistry there waiting to be developed given a crossover thing or wrestlemania perhaps. Triple H and Cena stood out for power and size and Punk and Michaels for skill and x-factor…
Not enough Punk ofcourse and it showed… perhaps due to prep for HIAC.
Fully concur, Punk’s a real scene-stealer, even if you hate him he fills a space and provides so much quality to everything he’s in.
Hi guys, it was better than last weeks disaster, Undertaker looked a little stronger, but maybe that was just because I saw him drive a chic’s head into the ring floor! Mr Bean coulda done that! The Rock was funny and then not funny at all, just looked like a wanker in the end!
Those were personal remarks, Rock’s a bit of a bitch it seems, the Rock must recognize his position as Smackdown’s great Superstar is now being filled by CM Punk. Was disapointing that he had to get down into the gutter to have a shot at Punk. Wonder what Punk himself thought of the remarks?
And I wonder whay he didnt make a live appearance, why the taped recording, was a bit lame and a bit insulting to Smackdown.
Lads, the reason Dwayne ‘the soapstone’ Johnson didnt appear live was that he is such a SUPERSTAR it was beneath him to actually gift the Smackdown audience with his genius and extroadinary presence! We should consider ourselves blessed that we got a recorded message, its all us little people deserve…

As all the superstars turn on Punk in my mind it only projects his continuous rise and their jealousy at his talents. If Punk was a hero instead of the heel, he would have been the biggest star of them all… he says “TODAY” like no one else in WWE.
And lets talk hollywood shit for a sec… and I know HW directors cast the obvious most of the time, but Punk could play any hard edge role with grit and authenticity. Imagine Punk in a role similar to the one Keanu had in ‘street kings’ or the ‘bruce willis’ hard-bit character in that movie way back with Damon Wayons, bout the yankee footballers??? what was that… someone help?
