Taker looked all out of steam – for real, not acting. The match was lifeless except for Punk’s endevours to revive it. My wife and I really cant see Taker beating Punk anytime soon. Its all engines firing for CM Punk right now. The age question is certainly a factor and I have to say I agree with the others that the once great Undertaker looks ready for his pension pass.

It was a good show because Cm Punk was in it. If Cm Punk is not in it its just boring, especially since Jeff has gone.

I think if the script writers at WWE source from the fans it keeps it fresh and exciting, but if they get snared in their own heads and in formula then things can slide backwards as we have seen with the return of the Undertaker for the millionth time. Here is an update our report late last night about CM Punk in the dog house in WWE right now.

As we noted, the decision was made to have Punk lose the World title in the opening match at the Hell In A Cell PPV due to him having heat with management due to an incident on the recent European tour.

According to sources, there was apparently an issue on Punk’s dress code during the tour. The story goes that at one point Undertaker pulled him aside and explained that he’s the World champion and representing the WWE brand and name overseas, so he should dress better. Punk reportedly said something along the lines of “what about John Cena?” which wasn’t taken very well.

The incident got back to WWE management and they decided that they weren’t thrilled with Punk’s actions and response and the decision was made. While it was already likely Punk was dropping the title at the PPV
, it was decided that he would lose what would ultimately be a quiet squash match in the very first match on the show.

but this is what j.r.said about punk at Hell In The Cell PPV:

“HIAC was an interesting event from my perspective at ringside. I found out somewhat later than usual that the Punk-Undertaker was going on first which changes one’s dynamic as the biggest match SD had to broadcast was that particular one. I actually enjoyed the wrestling side of the World Title bout and “felt” the story that was being told. I assume that Punk will get a return match in the future but don’t know the official date.

Its unbelievable that whenever the Undertaker returns, all the other wrestlers have to drop their shorts and bend over. No way Randy Orton would have gotten tombstoned as in last weeks Smackdown and absolutely no fucking way a 31 year old World Champion (CM Punk) is gonna go down to an old parady of something that is using the name Undertaker. There is a lot of real anger among wrestling fans across the world at this debarkle that was yesterdays hell in a cell. And in reading Jim Ross’s very brief analysis of the passing hell in a cell and having respected him for years I have to say Im extremely disappointed in how he said he “felt the storyline” Jim, there has been no feeling in any of the matches Undertaker has been in with CM PUNK and Punk is worthy of better treatment at the hands of WWE. No paycheck is worth your soul.
