That was a fun episode, better than last week, Punk was funny as hell. LOL! Yes Punknut he is the Messiah LOL! I agree with you after seeing this weeks show. Or did you say he was the Antichrist? I cant remember! He he LOL. His match with R.Truth was good too, the Gallow interference, there’s no stopping that part is there,so I wont complain about it. But it is interesting no doubt. This stuff could go somewhere interesting.

A solid show this week, and yes fun to watch, like Judas said above. First up let me say how cool it was to have Batista smash the hell outta Mr Undertaker, cause a lot of us have sooooooooooooo wanted that to happen everytime the bell tolls and we have to spend the next fifteen minutes waiting for the bloke to get to the stairs, lift his skirt and climb into the godamn ring… LOL! (God Im a bastard arn’t I? haha, sorry Taker) Its amazing how therapeutic a chair can be LOL! Although it didnt work for Jeff did it? LOL!
Is there a rule that the hottest female wrestlers have to have a name beginning with the letter M. ??? Mickie, Maria, Melina, Michelle, Maryse… well Mickie James is certainly quality, she delivers that chic… and Maria, thats one good-looking woman, glad she’s back I like the dynamics of what the writers have brought to the females lately, its fun and certainly improved since Mickie returned to Smackdown. Very noticable in fact.
Now for the real interesting part of the show, CM Punk v R-Truth. This was a damn fine wrestling match and yes I agree with Nicole and the others that in a perfect world there’d be no interference in matches (I personally detest it) BUT it was done well this week and Festus followed his Master well and delivered the goods, together taking out Truth- hey he deserved it after the trash can incident 2 weeks back! But it was the backstage stuff which was riveting. CM Punk gave us a taste this week of what the possibilities are for the development of his character as ‘Cult Leader’, he was just awesome! I had visions of what Id like to see over the weeks ahead, like for instance, a steady increase weekly in the number of Punk’s followers/ devotees, where he really becomes some twisted Idol to his followers(but not without some legitimate credibility not disrespecting the straightedge movement), to it ultimately culminating towards the end of the storyline with Josh or Teddy looking for CM Punk and they find him on a big chair philosophising to about 100 devoted followers in some backroom backstage, he blessing a line of people as they approach him, calling him “Straightedge Master”. I would love to see that! And it would be easy to get the people each week, just pull the CM Punk fans from the crowd, would be so fun. And it would it be the icing on the cake if there was a shot of Jeff Hardy sitting amongst the adoring followers if they could get Jeff to be involved, or Vince . I would laugh myself stupid to see an apologetic and arrogant Vince McMahon trying to explain to Teddy how he came to be part of Punks cult! Anyway, this storyline could be HUGE if done correctly, and it would be so much fun to watch what the ‘straightedge master’ gets up to each week. I see Punks cult leader charcter being somewhere along the lines of the Dalai lama meets Charles Manson LOL!

PS Lets hope the WWE gives CM Punk or the Undertaker the green light to finally drop Drew McIntire and bring his winning streak to an end. Its getting boring and the Vinnies pet thing is wearing thin with me. Good show overall

nice summary Punknut, think you covered it all there mate! lol Much better match than last week I thought, loved Punk’s self righteous smile at the end of the Luke/Punk promo, very funny. i hope WWE don’t let us down on this one, cos I think this side of Punk’s character could go far and be fun. Just hoping Punk gets to win some matches unaided in the meantime though.

Have you guys n’ gals noticed how the World Heavyweight Championship belt is all but disappeared from relevance? Its almost invisible. When CM Punk and Jeff Hardy had the belt, you noticed it and it was always something which made an impact, like it was something worth having, but the undertaker has somehow made the belt unimportant, I miss seeing that belt on a wrestler who wears it like he OWNS IT, like he values it, like he’s earned it!

Whenever I come to this joint I know punknut is going to make me laugh or pick a fight with someone and it will be a great read one way or the other, you are gorgeous punknut thanks for entertaining me with your entries.

And absolutely, Smackdown is again heading in the right direction and CM Punk is the reason. The WWE will hopefully be aware of this and give Punk the material to really rip the roof off Smackdown with the cult leader storyline. Its original and like the others here Im hopeing it will become a bigger event each week within SD’s episodes and that the WWE will do what they have never really done before, fully flesh-out the storyline and get as many people, wrestlers, actors, crew, the crowds and CM Punk fans involved as they possibly can. They might have something special here and lets face it, C M Punk is the only wrestler/actor who can transport this cult-leader type character to the masses and enlighten, titilate and horrify the viewers as well as deliver the best wrestling possible. C’mon WWE get behind this storyline with ALL YOUR RESOURCES.

If wwe was going to go with the cult stuff and what punknut said came true and they pulled people from the crowds to be extras in his cult scenes, how cool would that be to be one of those lucky people. Id get tickets to those shows if they made known when and where. Its a very exciting concept actually.

Not a bad SD at all, things are on the rise again, hopefully! CM Punk and R-Truth have done a great job considering no-one thought it would be at all of interest. Some of the standout moments of the last four weeks of SD have been between Truth and Punk which is a big statement. I would like to know when CM Punk will return to title contention again however?

According to reports, Top wwe talent CM Punk is reportedly unhappy with his role in WWE. The general feeling is that Punk’s been unhappy ever since he got in trouble for the Cena comment, and believes Gallows is bringing him down, and that he’ll never be in the main event role again.

If this is true I feel for him. I’m not happy with his role either. Now he is being used to advertise the Jeff Hardy DVD- yet again- good merchandising move by WWE though- no integrity whatsoever……SARCASM** He should advertise his own DVD if you ask me…..The thing is, I don’t like it when he says the parents are pathetic for buying this DVD for their kids. (storyline) My boy loves Hardy for instance and he knows that guy had a rough ride recently concerning drugs and what not but this doesn’t make him a bad person. Nobody is perfect. Not even Punk. I bet he also has some skeletons in his closet. *laughs*

2 Suxx – I cant imagine there would be any negativity still emitting from the Cena comment, considering Punk contributed to John Cena having arguably the best match of his career just a few weeks back, and its been all down hill for Cena since then. Watch this weeks RAW for the WORST Cena match of ALL TIME! vs Carlito – uuhhhh performance-wise, lazy, sloppy, mis-timed and unprofessional from Carlito and he accidently busted Cena’s bottom lip open to add insult to the amateurism he inflicted upon Cena! And the Sheamus thing is already over-baked and boring! Cena needs a really great opponent and there simply aint one at RAW after Randy Orton who is RAW’s only other relevent class-act. Cena should be asking for a CM Punk feud, my opinion. And the spoilers for tomorrows Smackdown feels like more druggie promotion which is beginning to really fuck me off. I think Punk has promoted Jeff’s dvd ENOUGH, once was fair in light of him being an employee of the WWE, but more than once is starting to stink, thats pushing the boundaries I feel. WWE, ADVERTISE JEFF’S DVD ON WWE.COM, DONT USE THE STRAITEDGE GUY TO PROMOTE THE DRUGIE, C’MON WWE! I wonder how CM Punk really feels about promoting Jeff Hardy after all that has happened??? Let’s put it this way, would John Cena promote a druggie’s DVD???

Thats why most of the guys are doing Chairs and Tables alone, cause its easy to crash each other through tables and beat each other with plastic chairs than do the seriously dangerous Ladder stuff. CM Punk and Mysterio and Matt Hardy can do the high stuff but why Punk isnt on the card baffles me/

We all second that sentiment. I wish the Undertaker would retire, he’s so one-dimensional and just plain boring.

I completely agree punk should answer questions again .It was extreme i loved reading them.And yes punk should get a title shot .aw it would have been awesome to have punk on TLC in a title match . That would have been spectacular. but no ….
